5/25/05 DVD Release
Happy Springtime folks. I hope everyone is doing well. The past few months I have been learning my new Pro Tools setup producing several artists along with Lapdog guitarist Johnny Hawthorn. This "time off" has also let my carpal tunnel syndrome calm down a bit as guitar playing became uncomfortable, but with the help of a wrist brace I am back and Lapdog will start rehearsing in the next few months, preparing for a summer of shows here and there. Oh yeah...I wanted to wait until I was sure it would succeed before I announced this: I opened a restaurant here in Santa Barbara almost a year ago called Beachbreak Cafe. I have been very busy getting it dialed in for the past 12 months and am finally happy with the food, service, and decor. When in SB, stop by and say hi. We have live music on our patio every Sunday afternoon at 4 with some great talent: Lapdog's Johnny Hawthorn, local legend Spencer, and on August 7th: Lapdog! Be there. -Joe Lyons
